Governor Monitors Landslide Location in Kalisari

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan monitored landslide location on Jalan Pesona IX, Kalisari Urban Village, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, Tuesday (11/27). This incident will be handled immediately thus resident's activities will not be hampered due to this case..

First, we need to secure this location then the residents who live around the location

Anies arrived on the location around 7 AM. He monitored the location together with Jakarta Assistant for Economy and Development, Yusmada; Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Dept. Head, Subejo; and Pasar Rebo Sub-district Acting Head, Panangaran Ritonga.

This Morning, Landslides in Kalisari Handled

He assessed, it needs around one month to handle this landslide. Because it must be made with a stronger structure. While he estimateed two days to clean debris and materials that covered the road due to landslide.

"First, we need to secure this location then the residents who live around the location. Hopefully we can handle it in one month," he conveyed.

According to him, there is significant ground height difference between the road and location where landslide occurred.

"Moreover, there is water channel without outlets under the location thus water is continuously flowing then seeps the ground and cause landslide," he stated.
